PEP Book 3 Unit 6 Part B Let’s learn
一、教学目标
1、知识目标:a、能听、说、认读单词:doctor ,nurse , driver , farmer , baseball player .
b、能够理解“what’s your father ? My father is a……”的意思,并能做替换;
c、能够听懂简单的指令:“Act like a ……”。
d欣赏英语歌曲“ My father is a doctor”
2、情感态度: a、培养学生热爱家庭、热爱生活的美好情感;
b、在他人需要帮助时,能够给予热心帮助;
3、学习策略:积极运用所学的英语进行表达与交流。
二、教学重难点:
1、教学难点:a、baseball player 的发音;
b、介绍家庭成员及其职业特征;
2、教学重点:a、能熟练听、说、认读:doctor ,nurse , driver , farmer , baseball player .
b、能够简单介绍自己的家庭,并加以简单描述;
三、课前准备:课件、单词卡、食物道具(温度计、帽子、方向盘、听诊器、棒球棒、粉笔)
四、 教学步骤
教学步骤
课前:欣赏歌曲“ An apple a day”

Step一、Warm-up/Revision

1、   Free talk
-How are you ? – Fine ,thank you .
-I like chicken. What would you like?
-Do you like duck?
2、   Let’s do
Act like a cat .    Act like a monkey.
Act like a duck .   Act like a rabbit……
3、   Say and act
教师先出示father和mother的图片,并问:
T: Who’s this ?     Ss: Father ./ Mother .
T: Act like a father .         Ss: I’m a Father . 
T: Act like a mother .        Ss: I’m a mother.
T: Act like a teacher .        Ss: I’m a teacher .
 

Step二、Presentation/Practice

1、老师指着自己说:I’m a teacher ,再指着一名学生说: He is a student .然后自问自答:What’s he ? He is a student . 问学生:What’s he ? 引导学生说:He is a student .
2、课件出示一个男人的声音)
T:Listen ,there is a man .
   Look , he is tall . What’s he ? Is he a doctor ? Guess .
Ss: Is he a teacher / farmer ?
T: Let’s go and have a look !
(课件出示男人的头旁边有一辆车子)
    T: Oh, he is a ……(listen)
Learn the word : driver . ( 个人读、小组读)
教师示范:Do ,do ,driver ,driver .I’m a driver .
          Come and act like a driver .
由学生自己上台来选择道具(讲台上放了温度计、帽子、方向盘、听诊器、棒球棒、粉笔等)
S1:Do ,do ,driver ,driver .I’m a driver . (请三位同学)
同时引导学生说:He is a driver . He is tall . He is strong .等
3、课件出示司机开着车兜风,经过田野,远处慢慢出现一个农民的身影)
 T: Who’s he ? (课件里传出老农的声音:farmer )
 教师领读、小组读
 T: Act like a farmer .
 Ss: I’m a farmer .( 边说边做动作)
 T: Good !Who can act like a farmer ?
 请学生上台表演,同时引导学生:T: He/She is a…     Ss: Farmer .
T: He/She is a…     Ss: Boy ./Girl .
4、课件出示司机开着车前进,经过广场,有个男孩子在运动的情景)
 T:Do, do , he is driving a car again .Look , who’s that boy ?

 Learn the word :  baseball player

 教师出示卡片,学生跟读,小组读
 T: Act like a baseball player .      Ss: I’m a baseball player .
 让学生上台边演边说:I’m a baseball player .
 教师可以引导学生:He is strong /short /thin……
 接着,课件出示足球、篮球的图案,告之学生“basketball , football “,由学生自己通过找规律得出“ basketball player, football player”.
5、Guessing game :
   请学生到教室门外选择扮演一个人物(driver,farmer,baseball- player,teacher),让其他学生猜一猜敲门的是谁。
6、课件出示:baseball player 把球打到了公路上,baseball player 跑在公路上玩球)
 T : Can he play baseball on the road ? 动作提示
 Ss :No .
 T: 那会发生什么呢?
  学生议论纷纷,有的说,肯定被撞了!
 课件出示,baseball player 真的被撞了,躺在地上 。
 T : Guess , who will help him ? The farmer or the driver ?
 Ss: The driver .
 课件出示driver把baseball player送到了医院。
7、doctor /nurse
 (课件出示医院的场景,有 doctor 和nurse ,他们把 baseball player推进急诊室)

  Learn the words :  doctor /nurse

  教师出示卡片,让学生一边跟读,一边做动作 。(教法同上面的单词)
8、认读单词:doctor ,nurse , driver , farmer , baseball player .
教师出示有四线格的卡片,学生认读单词。
9、Let’s chant
T:  Doctor, doctor . Act like a doctor ,
Ss:  Doctor, doctor . I’m a doctor .
T:  Nurse, nurse . Act like a nurse .
Ss:  Nurse, nurse . I’m a nurse .
(driver ,farmer ,teacher ,baseball player …)
教师示范,学生跟着说唱并做出相应的动作。
 
Step三、Extension/Consolidation
1、  课件出示:包扎好的baseball player躺在病床上,护士过来询问登记:
N :What’s your father ?(学生跟读)
B :My father is a doctor .(学生跟读)
N :What’s your mother ?
B :My mother is a teacher .
2、 练习:
教师走到学生中间,试着问一名学生他爸爸的职业
T :What’s your father ?
引导学生回答:My father is a ……
教师在请几名同学问其家人的职业,然后同桌互相交流。
3、 理想:
T :Now, I know your father and you mother’s job . Think about yourself ,what are you going to be ?
课件出示:一个思考的小女孩
T :This is me . Ten years ago ,I’m going to be a nurse .But now I’m a teacher . What about you ?
请学生用句型I’m going to be……说说自己将来的理想。
 4、欣赏歌曲: My father is a doctor
