一、教材分析
    本课的核心教学内容是“询问别人情况”。本单元结合句型What’s the matter ? I’m …集中教学表示感觉的形容词hot,cold,hungry,thirsty,tired 和ill, .
二、教学目标 :
1.能听得懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词hot, cold, hungry, thirsty, ill,tired .
2.听得懂、会说、会读和会写句子What’s the matter? I’m …
3.能用贴切的形容词表述自己的感觉。
4.单词tired的读音要到位。
三、教学重、难点:
1.能听得懂、会说、会读,会拼写单词hot、 cold、 ill、 tired、hungry、 thirsty .
2.听得懂、会说、会读和会写句子What’s the matter ?I’m…
3.能用贴切的形容词表述自己的感觉。
4.单词tired的读音要到位。
四、教具准备:
师:生词卡片,课件,影音资料等,投影、磁带、录音机。
生:食品、饮料、服装、扇子等。
板书:

五、教学过程
(一)、导入
1.Send some sentences: (复习一下学过的英语谚语)
2.Free talk:
A. Watch the cartoon 《jingle bell》(让学生感受一下圣诞节的快乐的氛围)
B. After several days , Christmas will come , Do you remember, How to say 圣诞快乐?Merry Christmas, how to say新年快乐?Happy new year!
At Christmas we can eat, we can drink, we can sing and dance happily, At Christmas, we will be very happy. Oh, we are all happy bees.
(二)、新授
1.T: But now, there is a girl, is she happy? Let’s have a look.(图片逐张出示) OK?
Who’s she? She’s 卖火柴的小女孩。She is a little match girl, do you know her? Do you know Andersen(安徒生), Danish writer?
Now, it is snowing, the poor little girl is walking at the long streets, She’s selling the matches. Is she happy? Let’s ask her.
Ss-T: Hi, little match girl, Are you happy? 
The little match girl: NO, I’m not happy.
T: Is she happy?
Ss: No.
T: Why she is not happy, let’s ask her, OK?
What’s the matter?(幻灯出示句子)
强调读准:matter,指名读,同桌读,小组读,
What’s the matter ?the little match girl said: I’m cold.(幻灯出示)
2.出示单词卡片,新授单词cold
师做动作,让学生理解并跟做跟读。指名表演,表扬演得好的同学。
3.问每一桌的同学,What’s the matter? Ask and answer, one by one.
4.Now , The little girl is very cold, let’s help her ,OK?
 (help单词出示,逐个反复问)
You can give her something and  say: Here’s a ...for you.(幻灯出示)
多人次指名请学生说。T:What’s the matter?
                 S: I’m (very) cold.
T: Here’s a …… for you.
S: Thank you.
5. T: Now, the little match girl wears coat, jacket and sweater,  so she’s not cold. Are you cold?
Ss: Yes.
T: OK, let’s play a game together OK? Now, stand up please, boys and girls!
Game: Let’s jump, jump and jump.
      Please jump eight times. Understand?
      Let’s jump ……times.
      Let’s run , run and run.
      Run fast. Run slowly.
Sit down, boys and girls. Now, I’m not cold, I’m hot.(出示单词)
 师读,请生读,提示短音,can you act it out?师生共同表演读。
 折解单词,拼读。
 Chant: Hot, hot, I’m not cold.
         Cold, cold, I’m not hot.
操练:What’s the matter?   I’m hot. Here’s a …for you.
Ask their classmates.
6.T: now, is she happy? Let me ask her.
  Ss-T: Hi, little match girl, are you happy?
  The little match girl:  No, I’m not happy. (幻灯出示)
 T: Why she is not happy? Let’s ask her.
  引导学生问:What’s the matter?
 I’m hungry.
请生读,加入动作使生理解。指名学生表演读。
(单词卡片出示)折解单词,
7.Now,the little match girl is hungry. Who can help her?
(出示幻灯Here’s a ……for you .)
请学生填空,领读,反复操练。
11, Oh, the little match girl eats so much food, Now she’s not hungry, but she’s thirsty
(做动作,卡片出示)跟师读:
(卡片出示)How to pronounce this word: Thirty—thirsty.
 正音,指名读:
I’m thirsty, can you help me? Who can help me?
Ss:Here’s a…for you.
(三)、巩固
1.Today,we have learned four words.Let’s review these words.
逐一出示学过的单词,指名读,不熟的反复读,强化。
逐组提问,每组答一个:What’s the matter?
                      I’m …….
2.当然,如果问的是你我之外的另一个人或几个人,我们不要忘了人称的转换(幻灯片切换)。
 师边做手势边领读
3.There are some pictures, can you tell me , what’s the matter?
   (幻灯片出示,逐个提问,指名请学生回答)
长征:This is the long march. they are the red army. what’s the matter?
(hungry, thirsty, cold, hot,tired and ill)
师总结:They are hungry, thirsty, cold and tired.
引出:tired.出示单词领读正音
They are so tired , finally, many people are ill.
新授:ill
师总结:They are cold, hungry, thirsty, tired and ill, but they are heroes , is or no? Yes.
4. In those pictures, many people need help .if you want to help them, you can say: Here’s  …   for you.
四、活动强化。
1.Now ,boys and girls, are you tired? Let’s have a rest OK?
Let’s Listen to the music《We wish you a Merry Christmas》,if you are happy, clap your hands, please.
2.there is a word in this song, Wish(出示单词)愿望。You have many wishes, I think, Yes or no? At Christmas, if you make a wish(出示题目), Santa Claus(出示圣诞老人) can I help you? Now ,let’s make a wish, OK?
3.(出示幻灯)let’s have a look.
Now,I’m Santa Claus, (自我演示)
 Hi, boy/girl ,are you happy?
   No, I’m not happy.
   What’s the matter?
   I’m…….
   Make a wish, please.
   I wish I have ……
   Look, Here’s …… for you.
   Thank you. I’m happy now.
指名一位较好的学生演示
Now, boys and girls ,take out your food, drinks and clothes, according to these sentences, make some dialogues.
4.Work in groups.
5.Ask some students come to the front and act it.
五.Homework
1. 补充练习
2.copy the new words four times.
